The “2nd International Innovation Management and TRIZ” conference has opened at the National Aviation Academy.

AZERTAC reports that the national anthems of the Republics of Azerbaijan and Turkey were performed at the event.

Ali Kutvan, Chairman of the Board of the Innovation Management and TRIZ Institute, said in his speech at the conference that the first TRIZ conference was held in Baku in 2019.

“We implement the TRIZ theory used by the world’s most advanced large companies. Unfortunately, this theory has been presented as a Russian theory. In fact, the founder of this theory was an Azerbaijani scientist. Korea makes extensive use of this theory. TRIZ University was established in 1971 with the great support of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. However, during the Soviet era the activities of this institute were suspended. The purpose of this event, jointly organized by Gazi University of Turkey and the National Aviation Academy, is to demonstrate that this theory rightfully belongs to Azerbaijan,” Ali Kutvan said.
