INTERNATIONAL ESSAY COMPETITION “WE ARE AT WAR WITH NATURE, IF WE WIN, WE WILL LOSE”

Inspired by this statement of Canadian astrophysicist Hubert Reeves, Innovation Management and TRIZ Institute organizes an essay competition to raise awareness about a non-anthropocentric, sustainable ecosystem and to receive original, creative, innovative and applicable economic and social policy suggestions.

1) Subject of the Competition:

To discuss the proposition of “we are at war with nature, if we win we will lose” around philosophical, economic and social facts.
 

2) Conditions for Participation in the Competition:

a) International PhD students and academics can participate in the competition.

b) Each contestant can participate in the competition with only one article.

c) Participation in the competition can be made individually or by writing a joint article as a team consisting of a maximum of two people.

d) The writing language of the article can be English, Turkish and Azerbaijani.

e) Contestants must write articles in which they use their original ideas. Articles must not have been used or published anywhere else before or sent for these purposes.

f)  The deadline for contestants to submit their articles to office@imti.az on 20. 11. 2024. Articles submitted after this date will not be evaluated by the jury panel.

g) The top five contestants in the competition will be given a prize * and a certificate of achievement.

h) A certificate of participation will be given to contestants who participated in the competition and submitted articles but did not make it into the top five places.
