Prof. Dr. Ali B. Kutvan was one of three speakers at the Business and Leadership Summit 2026, organised by Hoffman Co. at the Four Seasons Hotel Baku on 11 October 2026. The event brought together entrepreneurs, business leaders and professionals from various sectors to discuss leadership, strategic management and long-term business success.

In a presentation entitled “The Paradox of Sustainable Success,” Dr. Kutvan explored how the achievements that make an organisation successful can also hinder its ability to adapt. When businesses become too attached to established practices and past accomplishments, they risk overlooking new opportunities and failing to recognise the need for change.

Dr. Kutvan emphasised that sustaining success requires organisations to remain open to innovation, reassess their strategies and respond to changing conditions. The presentation highlighted the importance of strategic thinking and adaptive management in ensuring that today’s achievements support continued organisational development.

The summit offered participants an opportunity to exchange perspectives, share professional experience and build connections across the business community.

Following the event, a book-signing session was held for Dr. Kutvan’s newly published book, “Innovation in 100 Questions.” The session gave attendees an opportunity to meet Dr. Kutvan, explore the new publication and receive a personally signed copy.
